Biography
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Katalina Segura grew up in a very musical environment. As a young child, and into her teenage years, she showed her fascination for singing, participating in various musical events. Later on, she graduated as a cellist from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico.
Katalina’s first musical production, “Pedazo de Luna,” features a collection of previously unpublished songs by the legendary Puertorrican composer/vocalist Sylvia Rexach. Her new repertoire focuses on Christian/spiritual/sacred music.
Throughout her career as a singer, Ms. Segura has performed internationally in Europe, North America, and the Caribbean.
